Hi! I’m Julianne.

I also answer to mom. Well, more like MOM! or honey the kids are trying to get your attention! I have been a mom for what feels like the beginning of time and might be developing an immunity to the word or perhaps it’s the voices.

To all the mamas, I get you.

I am also a wife, but the hubs calls me honey (dear when he’s annoyed). We’ve been married 15 years! I have knowledge people-and by that, I mean experience—in what not to do and say. I have yet to learn.

To all the wives, I get you too.

I also go by Mrs. Powers, the substitute teacher. My job requires a lot of inhalin’ and exhalin’ and the ability to accept a lot of hugs. God knows I need them hugs. #gohugasub #noseriously #liketoday

To all the teachers, you are my heroes.

Besides Julianne, MOM! honey (or dear) and Mrs. Powers, I find my identity in Jesus. I write about seeking him, finding purpose, holding onto hope and falling short. He is my comfort, joy and strength.

If only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me-the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24
